PIPWARD 1.0 · AVAILABLE NOW

Your day, in order.
Your colors, too.

A clearer daily list and more ways to make Pipward feel like yours. Pipward 1.0 is now available on the U.S. App Store.

Chores in time order

See timed chores from earliest to latest, with earlier dates first. Chores without a clock time follow the timed chores for that day. Upcoming repeats and the next-chore display use the same order.

Ten color themes

Choose a palette for buttons, highlights, cards and backgrounds. Every theme has light and dark colors, while badge artwork keeps its original look.

Follow your device

Let Pipward follow your iPhone or iPad’s Light and Dark Mode, or choose either appearance yourself. Pick a color theme separately on each device, including Apple Watch.

Available now. Get Pipward 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and optional Apple Watch. Download on the App Store. See the short feature tour.

A LITTLE BETTER, EACH BUILD

What’s new
in Pipward.

The current App Store release and the private beta builds that led to it, newest first.

APP STORE RELEASE

1.0 Build 33

Pipward 1.0 is on the App Store.

The first public release brings together the features accepted in private testing. Includes time ordering, ten color themes, Follow device appearance and all previous Personal Care improvements.

Submitted September 29, 2026. Apple approval and U.S. App Store availability verified October 2, 2026.

TESTED · PRIVATE BETA

1.0 Build 32

Your day, in order. Your colors, too.

  • Open chores follow date and clock time, with Anytime chores after that day’s timed chores.
  • Upcoming repeat previews and the next-chore display use the same ordering.
  • Ten color themes change the app’s buttons, highlights, cards and backgrounds while preserving badge artwork.
  • On iPhone and iPad, choose Follow device, Light or Dark. Color themes are saved separately on each device, including Apple Watch.

Private TestFlight testing completed and accepted. The guide and a new short feature tour cover these changes.

REPLACED BY BUILD 33

1.0 Build 31

The tested version, ready for Apple.

Submitted September 28, then withdrawn September 29 to include the tested time-ordering and theme improvements in build 33. Includes the same features tested in build 30; the build number changed for App Store distribution.

TESTED · PRIVATE BETA

1.0 Build 30

A little care for you, too.

  • Noon becomes Afternoon, preserving your saved clock times.
  • Personal Care adds brushing teeth, flossing, washing your face, showering, brushing hair and trimming nails.
  • 22 new illustrated badges recognize Personal Care routines. Quick checkoffs count without a minimum timer duration.

Tester review completed. The written guide now includes daily times, Personal Care and the new badges.

TESTED · PRIVATE BETA

1.0 Build 29

One routine. More than one time of day.

  • Choose morning, noon and evening occurrences for a daily chore, with an adjustable time for each.
  • Each occurrence has its own completion, checklist, timer and reminder.
  • Finish one occurrence to schedule its next repeat while the other daily times stay independent.

Tester feedback confirmed build 29 works well. Build 30 changes the Noon label to Afternoon.

PRIVATE BETA

1.0 Build 28

A clearer, more reliable nudge.

  • Timed chores still get a reminder at their start time when the advance reminder time has already passed.
  • Chore details show the scheduled reminder time, whether reminders are off, or whether notification permission needs attention.
  • Settings offers a retry when a reminder cannot be scheduled.
  • Reopening Pipward or editing another chore avoids setting a second alert after the original reminder time.

Includes all improvements from build 27.

PRIVATE BETA

1.0 Build 27

Your categories. A clearer plan.

  • Create your own category names and reuse them across custom chores on phone and Watch.
  • See the next scheduled repeat in Upcoming before finishing the current chore.
  • Get better category suggestions for related maintenance tasks, such as cleaning a dryer vent and washer filter.
  • A fix for the reported crash when importing multiple holidays, while keeping protection against duplicate imports.

FIRST APP STORE CANDIDATE

1.0 Build 26

Ready for the first review.

  • Finalized in-app help, privacy and terms with links to the illustrated guide and captioned tutorial.
  • Clarified support information and how support requests are handled.
  • The Watch footer displays the installed version and build.

Our starting point for this release history, built on Pipward’s chores, checklists, repeats, reminders and badges.
